To be eligible for this internship you must have graduated from an undergraduate degree at a British University within the last 3 years. The Company Founded in 2006 Network Eq (w.networkeq.co.uk) is a web hosting company based in Bristol. We primarily deal with small to medium sized business customers and offer a range of hosting services with an emphasis on virtual servers. Our business has grown steadily over the last few years and we now have an infrastructure that will allow us to grow our client base therefore we are looking for enthusiastic motivated people to sell our hosting to new customers. Job Description You will work with our existing staff to sell our services to new customers. You will be expected to create your own contact lists (e.g. a list of web developers in the Bristol area) and phone up the companies to introduce Network Eq and our services. We will provide all training and resources necessary. We don t have physical office space as we work from home and you will be expected to do the same. All members of the company are in their 20s and we will enjoy meeting you for coffee at lunchtime or at a pub in the evening to catch up on your progress. We are also open to new ideas and innovation so we re looking for people who are enthusiastic and willing to come up with new ideas. Internship Details The internship can be part-time (up to 20 hours a week) or full-time for a period of 16 weeks (part-time) or 8 weeks (full-time. For part-time the hours and days you work will be flexible (provided you work between normal business hours. You will be paid £250 per week pro-rata for the internship period. If successful there is the opportunity for us to take the candidate on for a permanent job (on a part-time or full-time basis) once the internship finishes with an Ote salary in the region of £30000 and generous performance related bonuses. Skills Required Familiarity with the Internet and computers is essential Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word preferred Knowledge of hosting and servers is beneficial but not required as we will teach you all you need to know about the company and the services we offer You should have an excellent telephone manner and confidence when speaking to new people (both on the phone and in person You should be comfortable &quot working for yourself&quot setting your own deadlines and milestones and finding your own resources and contacts Experience in sales and or marketing is preferred but not essential.
