We are seeking to recruit a full time Accounts Manager for our client. The business is growing fast and presently employs about 30 people. The position is reporting directly to the Managing Director and would suit a person with a good knowledge of business processes. Salary up to £18500 21000 depending on experience. Working hours 8.30 or 9.00am to 5.00 or 5.30pm (whichever suits best) with the 30 minute unpaid lunch break. Holidays are 20 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays sick pay is Ssp only. Aat or similar qualification would be of benefit but experience is just as important. Job Description Key Points Sage Line 50 experience hands on working knowledge. Sales ledger management. Purchase ledger management (including payment runs. Cash book maintenance. Some cash management experience. Bank reconciliations including on line banking. Vat returns and payments (on-line. Weekly and monthly payroll preparation and associated returns. Petty cash management. Experienced in Microsoft Word Excel. Operational knowledge of invoice factoring. Close liaison with the Managing Director in the day to day running of the bookkeeping function. Any other duties the Managing Director requires to be carried out in the normal course of business.
